Our family just returned home from vacationing in BEAUTIFUL Hawaii-So Spring Fever is in full swing at our house! I find myself constantly daydreaming of the warm sandy beaches and the most incredible Hawaiian sunsets. Which brings me to todays blog post. With Spring Break Vacations right around the corner for several of you, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite swimsuit coverup ideas and tricks๐Ÿ˜Š
I am-and always have been- a HUGE fan of Boho Style! Growing up, my mom would often tell me that I was born in the wrong decade because I was constantly wanting to dress like a hippie. I have always loved the earthy look of flowy white peasant blouses, maxi skirts, and flower crowns. So for me- there is no better excuse to dress Boho-Chic than a beach vacation.

Here I am wearing a long tunic blouse by 'Johnny Was'. This blouse is an oldie, but goodie that has definitely given me my money's worth. 'Johnny Was' is known for vintage-boho designs and exquisite embroidery. Since my blouse is more of a tunic, the longer length works perfectly on it's own as a boho-style coverup, however, I decided to do my "elastic rubber-band" trick so the blouse would hit comfortably at my waist and stay in place. This rubber-band trick will come in handy if you ever have a longer sweater, or blouse that you don't want to tuck-in because of the added bulkiness to your waistline. You need two elastic rubber-bands. Gather one side of your shirt into a "pony-tail" and wrap the rubber band around it several times. Do the same on the other side. Then fold entire blouse under-making sure to hide the rubber-bands. Your blouse will be sure to stay in place, and no one will ever know! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Above are a few of my current favorite Boho inspired, embroidered blouses. Wear the blouse alone as a swimsuit coverup, or throw on a pair of shorts or mini skirt. It will give you a perfect look, whether you are sitting poolside or at the beach.

Another fun and affordable Idea for a swim coverup, is using a Kimono. Kimono's are super trendy right now and you can find them practically everywhere! Here are a few options that I am loving!
If you prefer pants as your swim coverup rather than a top, then look for a linen type material and wider leg style. Check out these options below! (Two of them are currently on sale!๐Ÿ™Œ)
Most importantly- Whatever swimsuit and coverup you decide on-Wear them with confidence and know that you are BEAUTIFUL!โค๏ธ
