It is officially March-And for me that means Spring Fever. Spring is my very favorite time of year. It's the season of growth, hope, and renewal. It's a perfect time to reassess your life-as well as your wardrobe. As much as I will miss wearing my chunky sweaters and wool coats, I am beyond excited for longer days and warmer temps!
For me, nothing says Spring quite like a trench coat. It's one of those timeless classics that will never go out of style. Pair your trench coat with a striped top, black skinny jeans, and ballet flats for a Parisian chic look, or dress it up by pairing it with a spring floral dress and stilettos. There really is no wrong way to style a trench coat!

I tell Annika all the time that she was born in the wrong decade. She is my 80"s girl at heart- And a BIG David Bowie Fan! She found this jacket a few years ago when we were shopping in Forever 21. It didn't even matter that it was three sizes too big-she was adamant about getting it. Turns out, it was a smart purchase because she has managed to get plenty of use out of it these past few years. (Especially during the transitional seasons of Spring and Autumn.)
March is a tricky month when it comes to fashion. (Especially here in Utah) The key for dressing in early spring is layers. Annika's Bowie jacket isn't super thick, so she decided to pair it with a light weight black sweater, as well as a long sleeve under-tee. Layering allows you to keep warm without looking like you are still dressing for winter.
